For people who didn't see Rahm's speech, Rahm basically outlined what you said in more or less saying, you know, this is two Israelis saying you need to wake up.
Your leader, your prime minister has made you a global pariah.
By what he's done.
And for Rahm to do that, people should understand, is a pretty big deal.
Rahm's obviously an observant Jew and he – big proponent of U.S.-Israeli ties.
And also, Sam, his father.
His father was a – His father fought for Israel.
He was an IDF.
Didn't Rahm get raised on a – like in Israel for a period of time?
Yeah.
If you're talking about how Trump treats his allies, that might not be particularly great.
But I'll just say, just close out the Israel section.
The common refrain you hear when you talk about the stuff we're talking about right now.
is that's victim blaming.
You know, Benjamin Netanyahu, Israelis were attacked on October 7th.
And now you're saying that they're responsible for that.
To which I say, no, that's not victim blaming.
Netanyahu made a series of very strategic choices after October 7th and prior to October 7th that have isolated from the horrific act of violence that happened that day, put Israel in a much worse geopolitical state, and really hampered American perceptions of Israel.
And everything that was happening in the West Bank and all those settlements
That's different than what happened in Gaza.
