If it starts happening all the time and there's a real risk that it would happen all the time with this, if people keep a high line, which is why they won't and they'll go back, this isn't entertaining.
This is stupid.
No, I hate it too.
And I'll say this, since you mentioned the average number of goals in a match, but I'm still waiting for some big brain mathematical data science guy to explain to me why this is the case.
So the average number of goals in a game in just about every league in the world for the last 40 years has been between 2.5 and 3.
Sometimes it goes a little lower.
Sometimes in some leagues it's a little bit higher.
Like in Holland, historically, it's been higher.
But if it's higher, it's like 3.1, 3.2.
Mm-hmm.
Why is that the case?
It's just that 22 players running around on a pitch that size over a large period of time, it's always going to be between 2.5 and 3.
I mean, is it physics?
Is it the ball moving around?
Nobody can seem to explain this to me in a mathematical way.
If you are out there, please come to me, find me on Twitter.
I genuinely want to know.
So, look, I'm in no position to judge whether this is the case.
Adelaide United, they deny this.
I think what is undeniable, he went from his first couple seasons where he was playing regularly
