Like just, you know, like just felt like, okay, now that I've done that,
Like the other stuff is fuck all now.
Everything is now, I've kind of proved to myself the power of my mind.
You know, and so I was like, well, everything else now should be a walk in the park, quite literally, you know.
And then so we carried on doing them, you know, Hikurangi to Taranaki and cycled a couple of thousand k's around the South Island in 2024.
And then last year we walked from Cape Reanga to the Beehive and this time with a call to action, with a petition.
Yeah, it's going good, bro.
So, um, so yeah, I sort of thought I felt that the awareness was awesome and I'm holding space for people.
So, you know, cause I've done peer support training one-to-one in group facilitation.
And so like my, my inbox is, is, is active, you know?
Um, and when I do these events in April, it's, it's full on.
Um, but usually, you know, sort of three or four or five messages a week, but you know, in April it's three, four, five a day.
Um, so holding space for people is wicked, but then, um,
Wanted to do more, like, I'm just looking at the whole situation with how our laws work and the system and how there's no accountability for these offenders and stuff.
Because you're pushing for stronger sentences, right?
Yeah, stronger sentences and other changes to the laws around sexual violence to fucking make a difference, you know, to change something.
So last year we did the eight-year minimum mandatory sentence for sexual offending, and that's made it through to the Justice Committee and speaking with a couple of different politicians, MPs about it.
But one particular political party are working on some policies now that they're going to bring around around minimum mandatory sentences, which is amazing.
