it's hard to know because she did it so um sort of systematically like all the time and things that but I think she liked doing it I don't know how to so much of the things were kind of like almost appeared like a job the way she did them that's hard to say but I think she was enjoying herself um yeah doing it yeah she probably did come from that generation and was just also at a phase in life where her you know her spare time was limited and
But she'd go to different art schools just to learn different things, and she'd end up making a few nice stuff.
She went to learn pottery for a bit, and she made my mum and dad a pottery version of the house that they were living in, this cottage that was cute.
So she'd go and learn different stuff purely for self-interest, I can only assume.
I think so.
She did talk a lot.
Which I haven't mentioned yet, but...
It also became a thing of like, she would call and then everyone in the house would know she'd called and they'd run away.
The person on the phone would be stuck talking to her for an hour.
But it was kind of nice.
I guess I missed it a little bit.
You did get to sort of hear what she was thinking about it.
But she would tell like the story that sounded like it was going somewhere.
But then it was like, oh, and then I met this person.
And then there was a doctor like...
I thought you were telling me what you had for lunch.
It could be a bit long.
She was still interested in what we were up to when she was talking, but she did just... I think she was... If she wasn't doing stuff and people weren't visiting, especially as she got older, she didn't have that many... She was lonely.
Relatively speaking, she outlived a lot of her friends as well.
