five lives a day and take it around to all her neighbors because she'd somehow taken on the project of being the neighborhood's baker and yeah whenever I went to visit her we'd be doing like art projects so she was also an artist and we're either doing we're baking or we're doing art whenever we're at our house basically which is nice and yeah Christmas we'd um
make those a Christmas cakes and like little marzipan animals that you've got to paint and stuff.
So lots of fun things.
So that was cute.
Then dining room was like to the side that had like a big table and, uh, she'd host us with all the cousins and things and she loved hosting people.
And, um, so yeah.
a big spread of something whenever we went and that was nice.
It had a red carpet.
Then she had a front room where we'd watch TV and then she'd always fall asleep watching the news and we tried to change it and then she'd be like, I'm watching it.
And you're like, you're not watching it, Nan.

Don't know how that worked.
Oh, no, she had a lot of edge.
She had that with plenty of people.
I think she had a very strong sense of what she wanted to do.
And when she got older, she got a thing called Lewy-bodied dementia.
And so she went slightly blind and she had a block of imagination doing strange stuff.
So she'd think that someone had said something horrible to her that hadn't.
