And the Rocks District is small.

That's a pretty tight little ADA.

The soil is consistent more than I think any other U.S.

You have more or less, they look like the stones in Chateauneuf.

But there's also this history of

farming that was not at all related to vines in that area.

And I discovered this in researching a piece a few years ago.

There was a lot of fertilizer salts that were left from that.

And it might be part of the reason you get this super distinctive, salty, savory flavor in Rocks District wines.

That area has been farmed for a while.

And I think that is maybe a little bit of a part of it.

The acid, if you look at pH, pH is super high.

So there are low acids, but it feels like there's more acid than there is.

And your mouth is watering with the saltiness.

It's like almost like a pork rub and like savory rosemary character.
