To put a little bit of a plug in for myself here, if you are looking for wines from the Rocks District, we have an article called How the Rocks Rock on JancisRobinson.com.
And it has a bunch of producers that you should check out in it.
And I will say, if you see something labeled as Walla Walla, Walla Walla, as the entire AVA, the larger AVA,
It's not the same as the Rocks District.
So you can't assume that anything was made in the Rocks if it's labeled Walla Walla, but you should look up the producer and see where they are and if they'll tell you which vineyard they're getting fruit from.
Because they might be sourcing from the Rocks District.
So...
You know, you can, if it says Walla Walla, maybe do some investigating into where it's coming from.
Or just guess?

I think it's probably somewhere between 65% and 70%, but I could be entirely wrong about that.
It's the majority of Oregon's winemaking, but it is not everything.
There's a lot of wine being grown in Southern Oregon, and there's wine being grown up in the Rocks District, and there's wine being grown in the Columbia Gorge, and all of these places exist and should be acknowledged.
I've never been there.
So it's hard for me to plug, like make a plug for it because I don't have experience.
But yes, we should also drink ones from there.
