He was unbelievable.
He was passionate.
He used to get the supporters at it.
We used to go away from home.
He'd have a red shirt on.
He'd go over to the fans, take his jacket off and show the red shirt, get everyone pumped up.
And the duck was a character, as you know.
In big games, he would be cracking jokes.
That was his way of sort of like selling his town.
We went down every game fearing no one.
The team shoot used to come in.
Tommy Cavanaugh would pick the team shoot up, screw it up and throw it on the floor and say, we're not even looking at that.
They're not in our league.
So the two of them had a part to play.
And, you know, the training side of things wasn't what you call a lot technical, Paddy.
It was more fun because...
When we were winning games, we did the same every week.
We had the same routine.
The Ducks sort of thing was, why change it?
