In this case, talking to a chap from across the pond, Jack Quantrill, who I met in person at Summer League finally after we collaborated on so many different podcasts together.

enlightened me well we'll we'll both try and work together to come out enlightened in the end because for for podcast listeners which is includes yourself which thank you uh podcast listeners you know jackie's coming in as a big time brandon ingram booster so we'll have a very interesting conversation around him but also the lakers i mean i was just digging around on like synergy
leaderboards and they just get like 30 drives per game of the highest points per possession between luca and austin and just there's nobody else who can come close like shea yes but he doesn't have a second driver so i suspect the lakers are just eating alive on drives i mean i watched them do so against the raptors all this to say i'm gonna intro this i had a tweet that you know i was i tweeted it out mostly so i could say it during this podcast so
a third of the way through the raptor season yes later today for listeners they're playing the celtics but they are 17 and 11 they are the third seed in the conference they're 13th on offense 17th on defense they're number one in transition frequency number four enforcing turnovers they are 10th in pick and roll points per possession 19th in isolation points per possession and 22nd in post-up points per possession
The best plays currently are Brandon Ingram handoffs, Scottie as a role man, IQ coming off a screen, and RJ Barrett cutting.
RJ is also sublime coming off of handoffs as well.
Jack, what's your sniff test on the Raptors thus far?
It hasn't happened in the way I thought it would either.
It's the Rockets.
You probably wouldn't have guessed that they would succeed the way that they would, at least maybe not to that degree.
