The left view often on the more descriptive first side is to say,

And I think if we don't talk more about age and politics, we'll have not just misunderstood our situation, we'll have missed the chance to create a new coalition of youth and old.
Well, I do want to insist that we should have policies that are aimed at least some of the time at unleashing our capacities and stoking innovation.
Where I might differ from some other podcasters at the New York Times is that we're not just concerned about abundance and novelty with economic innovation and economic growth.
