Thanks for having me here.

I think, you know, it's always been a big dream of mine to be associated with the 100s.

It's one of the premier leagues in the world, in my opinion.

English cricket has always been, you know, we all grew up with county cricket in India.

I remember every day I used to read all the statistics and all the stuff of county cricket.

So I was always attracted to that.

And I just saw a lot of cultural fit with cricket.

Will Birchfire, obviously with the Wales football team, that's become a big phenomenon with Ryan Reynolds and everybody else.

And so obviously the Birchfire was very attractive.

We did talk to other teams and besides the fact that, you know, I own the cricket team in the US, the Washington Freedom.

So besides the fact that both were WF, but yeah,

I think there's a great cultural fit between us and Welsh Fire and we were just honed into them.

Sure.

So I'm going to give you an analogy to the Washington Freedom, right?

So Major League Cricket started four years back.

Washington Freedom was an unknown because, you know, we had established cricket brands who were owning teams in the U.S., namely four.

Four of them had IPL lineage to have teams here.

The fifth one had its ownership in the teams.

Last four years, we made it to the playoffs all four years.
