He's obviously a massive cricket fan and he's willing to put his money behind him and fund cricket.
But how much is he obligated to help the rest of the region in terms of funding when his mandate is to look after Guyana, right?
So the Global Super League is to benefit tourism in Guyana.
should we account on him having goodwill for the region in terms of, like you said, almost like a West Indies federation and be like, cool, we're one West Indies.
Do I spend some of our funds on helping the Caribbean?
Obviously, remember, he's in CARICOM as well.
He's the head of CARICOM, right?
So he does have some sort of obligation.
But at the same time, in terms of the Guyana government, you're still accountable for your spending.

For me, it doesn't make a difference.
If you held all those white ball games in Jamaica, it's not going to affect the quality of play.
And then if it's saving cricket West Indies 400k on flights, you might as well just have it there.
The only people will be complaining is obviously if certain governments aren't funding the cricket, the people of that island are going to miss out on international cricket for the next few years, right?
But in terms of logistically and financially, that seems like an easy one straight away to save money.
It's a no brainer, right?
