Lucia, is a really good example of what should be happening, right?
Last year, and I have to say credit to Darren Sammy for this and all of his backroom staff.
Now, obviously, Akeem is St.
Lucia.
Maybe that plays a role in why Sammy was so fine with giving Akeem the role as well.
But last year in CPL, St.
Lucia won it.
Akeem batted number three for St.
Lucia pretty much through the whole tournament.
He actually played 99% or 95% of St.
Lucia's games on the way to them winning it.
He batted number three.
Now, if you study Akeem's innings last year, he basically was given the role at number three, just back through the innings.
His strike rate wasn't anything too, too impressive, like 110 maybe, something like that.
but he played a bit of a glue roll.
I'll be the guy that everyone can anchor around and I'll just try back through the innings, right?
Now at that stage, Akeem was like 20 going on 21.
This year now, Akeem's still in the team, but now his game has expanded.
