There are checkpoints everywhere in the streets.

The atmosphere is really unsafe, like very highly securitized.

And I mean, we're very afraid of these checkpoints.

We're really as afraid of the checkpoints as we are of bombs and missiles.

We know they check phones.

We know they search photo galleries.

We know they've arrested people we knew because of just something they found on their phone, like a photo or a call or following a certain page or something like that.

It's very terrifying.

For a long time, I just didn't take my phone out with me at all.

But for example, now that I've started taking it out, I just constantly erase everything and clear my phone of everything.

Honestly, when things are outside of my control, I just start cleaning.

and tidying my house.

I constantly clean everywhere in the house.

I vacuum, I wash the dishes so the house is perfectly tidy.

I cook, I start dusting, vacuuming, washing the bathroom, washing the kitchen, washing all the dishes in the sink.

I started making jam, which I have never done before.

I scrubbed the whole house with the thought that if there's no electricity or water, at least my house would stay clean for a few more days.

And then I took a shower.

I blow dried my hair.

I mean, I know it's really stupid.
