And I don't know that he's going to be necessarily willing to take on a quarterback's coach role.
But how bad do you want to be an NFL head coach?
Are you going to have to be the Antonio Pierce sort of situation where you go from –
basically you know being anonymous to being an nfl head coach or you know are you willing to work with somebody you're familiar with like that so i don't know i kind of find that idea sort of interesting as we talk about other players that are like matt ryan's getting front office looks with the falcons and these sorts of things like these former players i think it takes somebody like that who's obsessed with the game like cody said to if you do lose somebody of the caliber of a davis webb
I think you need to bring in somebody who's sharing that same vision, right?
It's not just about getting the biggest name coach out there.
It's about somebody who has that shared vision that you do.
And that's something, I don't know if Phillip Rivers would ever wear a Bronco on his, you know, I don't know if he'd ever wear that gear or whatnot, but that's just an idea to throw out there.
Somebody who knows what they're doing, who's worked with Bo Nix before, that could be interesting to me.
I would prefer that, personally.
I mean, I think they're the worst team in the field of 14.
And I say that knowing that everybody that makes the playoffs makes the playoffs for a reason.
But I think when you look at all the playoff teams this year, I just think the Steelers have been, if you want to talk about passing the eye test or whatever, however you want to put it,
they've been, to me, the most inconsistent team out of anyone that played this year, other than, I guess, Carolina.
I mean, the winner of the NFC South, that's like three years running, so it's kind of just white noise at this point that whoever wins the NFC South has got a losing record borderline.
So I think in the AFC, for sure, the Steelers strike me as the team that you would say, hey, Aaron Rodgers takes a lot of sacks.
They don't necessarily have the most dynamic running game.
