Five days is a long, long, long time in the Middle East.

So we're not even close yet to the actual signing.

But this is totally, the conversation right now in Washington is totally neglecting the Iranian people that were put at the centre of this at the beginning when President Trump tried to justify going in.

And I think there is a lesson again, you know,

with Iraq, with Afghanistan, now possibly with Iran, the U.S.

is very good at declaring success and victories and milestones long before it's understood what the longer-term consequences will be.

And perhaps it is ever thus.

Perhaps that's what we'll see on Friday.
