And I think because we live in an age of phones, selfies are kind of water off a duck's back.

Well, that happened very quickly at primary school because the older children recognised me immediately from Horrible Histories.

Of course, Horrible Histories.

So they said to my child, your mum is in the show.

My child then said to me, what's Hobble Histies?

And I was like, oh, it's a programme.

Showed them.

And they were a bit like, oh, that's you, but looking a bit different or talking a bit different.

Oh, OK.

Then...

Say, for example, I was going to do a chat show or something and then I would put my child with a friend and they would put it on.

My child would literally just be like, that's my mum.

And we've got hilarious videos of me in the background and the person going, look, there's mummy.

And them just going, yes, I get it.

My mum is there.

So I think what happens is...

your child just sees it, expects it, and it's just... It's just normalised.

Yeah.

And they get used to people spotting you.

I mean, once we were coming out of a shop and somebody went, where do I know you from?
