Don't really don't even make eye contact with the owner.
I look down at the dog and I go, Can I pet your dog?
And the minute the word yes is said, I'm just down there going, Hello?
Um my child is exactly the same and I'm so proud now that they are um nine and now they just go up completely independently.
No more do I get asked, Mummy, can I pet this dog straight over?
Excuse me, please ma pet your dog straight down to the dog, n straight away doing the scratch behind the ears.
Mummy, get back.
This dog is a little bit shy.
I think they prefer me.
straight and I I'm so that's one of my proudest things about my child is they love animals and that every dog must be greeted.
And not be and don't be offended if not.
I've also really explained to my child that dog might have not had a great start.
They might be a bit nervous.
They might be nervous of children.
Somebody might have been mean to that.
