It's wonderful to be here.
Oh, well, it was really easy in many ways for me to spend money when there was nothing open.
I'm sure that was the same way for other people.
But I was planning to go on vacation a couple of times.
And since I didn't get to do that, and I certainly didn't want to sit in Las Vegas with a mask on my face at the pool, I decided that I would spend money in other ways.
And before I knew it, I was spending a ton of money on things like cosmetics and a lot of other things.
Well, I've always loved cosmetics.
Anyone who knows me knows I love makeup, but I would tend to buy more of the drugstore brands.
It'd be easier for me to just pop into a Duane Reade or a CVS and get a drugstore brand just because it's easier, closer to where I worked.
But now, since the pandemic, that was not a possibility.
So I did one of two things.
Before stores opened, I ended up buying a lot of
of more designer brand lipsticks, if you can call it that, from places like Sephora or Ulta.
And then when the stores opened, I was right there first in line to pretty much buy anything.
And before I knew it, I was spending about $200 each time I would go into the store and I realized I had a bad habit.
Well, consciously, it didn't factor in at all, but subconsciously, I'm sure it did.
The fact that all of us are having meetings now virtually as opposed to in person, for some reason, we all want to make sure we look good.
We've heard the stories of
the jokes about everybody who's going on Zoom calls in their pajamas or in their robes.
