And those September holidays, I just...
Packed up and disappeared, a lot of people didn't even really know that that's what was happening, and I lost a lot of friends from that, you know, especially in the days when you're not connected via the internet.
So I just didn't see people again, and a lot of people I was really close to.
And then it turns out that, you know, he, I don't know if he ever had any intention of really getting into that dance program or not, but it certainly didn't happen.
And I was just enrolled in the local high school that I lived near.
And yeah, we continued to see each other all the way through, through my school years.
I'd just turned 21 when we got married.
And by that stage, I was already pregnant.
I was about four and a half months pregnant, I think, at that time.
Yeah, it was the weirdest wedding ever.
I didn't meet.
most people in his life, like family, everything, until the day before the wedding.
So that was a very strange experience for me to be walking down the aisle for such an important thing and just seeing a whole bunch of strangers and really not knowing.
And I felt really embarrassed.
It was pretty much, you know, all my friends and family, it was drilled in, you know, do not talk about how this relationship started or how we met.
So obviously, you know, he wasn't telling anyone on his side, you know, how we actually met.
But there was a lot of confusion, I think, as to why all of a sudden I was this bride that just popped up.
And, you know, it would have seemed very rushed to his family because they didn't know me.
Wow.
