And so culturally, we often don't share a lot of affinities.

That being said, gay men and lesbians are also just people.

And so oftentimes, you know, people decide they like each other and and it can be a solidarity piece.

think straight men and lesbians are often natural allies.

want to be there.

And we don't want to be in a red dress.

That's a very interesting take.

I will say, um I I I I never go to lesbian bars anymore, which is why lesbian bars don't survive, by the way, is because

uh, you know, women the second they're sort of like, Oh, now we're now we're together forever and we're gonna have kids and we're never going out again.

But I I I went, uh this is probably still a couple of years ago, and I was like, There's all these straight couples in here.

Like it was like m men with their like braided belts, like with their girlfriends.

And I was like, Where did they all come from?

And everybody's like, Oh, well, this is now everybody's so accepting or whatever that uh too

Yeah.

I'm like, but

There's a gajillion bars on eighteenth street where all the straight young people can go.

Why just I just let all the lesbians be here.

So this goes back to our woke conversation a little bit where some one of the problems I think sometimes with the excess is that you get to the excess part too early before people are ready.

And then it diminishes the opportunity when that thing is really necessary.
