I will say I have a friend who relocated to Portland from California who has remarked many times that she finds it incredibly weird that Fred Meyer, which if you don't know, is a big grocery store with a bunch of other sections, has a jewelry department, has a little jewelry store in it when you come in, which is just something that's normal to me, much like Bikini Coffee.

And recently I had the divine pleasure of her texting our group chat and saying, does anyone know where I can get a new battery for a watch?

So, you know, what is nice about this too, is that much like with Christmas, we can market to both kids and adults because kids demand stuff and adults are the ones who control the money that gets it for them.

but yeah this this move toward maybe like bigger ticket items when in the past it was really like you know you would definitely i'm sure spend a lot more than you would like to on school supplies but it would break down into a lot of small stuff you know and that maybe we're having moving in a very different direction now but
