And the World Health Organization chief basically said it was a good thing that she didn't stay any longer on that ship.
She had got symptoms that were flu-like symptoms, told the doctors, and they said that because she had some anxiety as well.
I mean, presumably you would be worried if you were feeling like that, that that was stress and they dismissed it initially.
That, of course, was the early signs of Hantavirus, as it seems now.
So the officials made those comments saying, you know, thank goodness she is now off the ship and in an intensive care unit at a Paris hospital.
But obviously, this is a virus that doesn't have any treatment, but the symptoms can be treated and handled.
And we have to hope that that woman pulls through.
I think that's got to be a concern because the PCRs were given after getting off that ship and we'll have basically a process of three days where there'll be repeated PCRs, not just to the passengers who have been disembarked at the Canary Islands, but a number of passengers, as we know, got off earlier in
And in America, for instance, we have one positive per testing, but we also have nine passengers being monitored who had previously disembarked.

And we know that that ship will take six days to get to Rotterdam.
So that's a long, long journey indeed.

One of the theories is that that Dutch couple who died from the virus, that they did a two-week tour in Argentina, and I understand they visited the Patagonia area.
So because of the fact that this virus can live in the system for a long time, the health officials and experts are wondering if they had it prior to getting onto the ship.
But of course, what they will be looking at is...
what happened for the transmission once it was on that ship, because we know that this Andes strain is the most serious, and it's the one which does show human-to-human transmission for a virus that normally would be transmitted from the urinal faeces and from rodents to a human.
And so that, of course, will be what all the health officials will be looking at.
