There's just lots of stuff going on and mystery and cars that don't work and all in sweltering southern Italy.
He sounds brilliant.
Reading as escapism.
I just think that's the perfect book.
If you're just like, oh God, I don't want anything that's going to make me think about the real world right now.
And that thing about being a young person at the beginning, because the character sort of just left university, trying to work out what his life is going to be.
His next big love story is really great.
Oh, that sounds great.
And it's one of those books you always want to recommend to other people.
Readers love Ben Lerner.
Yeah, I think... He's brilliant with form.
He makes you think, and they're so difficult to tell them why you think they should read it.
It's like, just read it and then we can discuss it.
Especially with audition, I say, and not, because sometimes what you do want is a really satisfying ending.
It's tied up.
