No, the rabbit did die eventually.
This was a long time ago, but...
rabbits don't actually live that long but um but my punishment when my mum came home the next morning you know there was you know it's still smoky we stayed up all night me and my sister to try and tidy it up and she's I really wanted her to hit me actually because I felt so guilty and um and she didn't she didn't she um she made me go to a drama club on Wednesdays and Sundays
To keep me off the streets.
For punishment.
I think she now wishes she maybe gave me a slap instead.
I've got very young parents, I should say.
So my dad was in a pop band in the 70s.
Yes, he was a singer.
He was 17, so it was a very brief pop career.
He didn't want to be famous, my dad, so he left that band.
But my mum saw my dad on TV when she was 14, and she was absolutely convinced that she was going to marry him.
And then she tracked him down.
And she did it.
She used to sit outside his house and wait for him.
And then she waited until he wasn't in the band anymore.
He worked in a shop and he had depression.
And she was the only woman still sitting on his lawn.
And that's how I was made.
