She chooses the moment, and this again is not a spoiler, where this is about to collapse.

this is where the Berlin Wall falls.
So it is such an interesting time to visit East Germany.
Because so many of those books, what I mean is, what we're used to is like, the heart, the stars, people, they're in power, everything's happened.
It's like, everything is crumbling.
People they knew, who they thought they were, everything is falling around them, their ears.
And it's just, I thought it's such an interesting time to set a book.
Yeah, he wants to be a writer.
