There is a mass at St.
Christopher's Church this morning.
The normal Sunday Mass has become a mass for the victims of the tragedy on New Year's Eve here.
And people here, of course, gathering to remember the many victims of this horrific fire.
And so of course for the families who had been hoping against hope that perhaps their relatives, their children in many cases, were in hospital somewhere unidentified yet.
They're getting the worst possible news.
They're now beginning the grieving process knowing.
that their children have in fact died.
The fact that a government building was hit, you know, we don't believe there are any casualties, at least not so far as we know yet, but it is symbolic.
You know, an attack, a strike right on the heart of government in Kiev does matter because it shows that Russia can get through it, can make it through the air defences.
This was a massive drone and missile attack on Ukraine, the biggest yet according to the numbers that have been given by Ukraine's Air Force.
More than 800 drones and missiles.
And we saw two of those cruise missiles at very close range, moving at extremely high speed right across the city centre here in Kyiv.
There were multiple explosions, some in the distance, but also here at the cabinet building, the building of the government here.
that that or any official building like this has been hit.
So that is a significant moment.
