You need to overnight anyway, the way the flights operate.
So I think sometimes people just tended to overnight for one, you know, stay somewhere at the airport and get on the cruise the next day.
But I definitely would recommend staying an extra night or two and just explore Miami and just soaking up the atmosphere.
It's really, really quite a cool place to visit.
Well, funny, I expected it to be.
I had heard eating out and that it was one of the most expensive cities, but I certainly didn't find it as expensive as Vegas.
I would even say from a dining point of view, I found some really great value places to eat cheaper than New York.
So I didn't actually see that.
Although, you know, I know Time magazine and lots of places would say it is the most expensive place.
I suppose if you're kind of going to the top clubs and the top, you know,
you know, restaurants, maybe, yes, you will pay an awful lot of money.
But there are really, particularly for people on a short break, like a cruise stay for a couple of nights, you can get around with free public transport.
Like it's really, really cheap to get around and really, really easy to see everywhere.
Like we booked the hop on, hop off bus tour and there was only nine stops, you know, which kind of threw me a bit, you know, to go through all the different neighbourhoods.
Like it's a big city, you know, but it doesn't feel that way.
And you can actually see a lot and get around quite cheaply.
And there are, I found, kind of maybe more cheap eats than you'd get in some of the other American cities.
That was my experience anyway.
Yeah, that's, I suppose, the iconic place you have to go.
In fact, I'd say if you can afford it, it's probably the cool place to stay as well, because I kind of thought it was just the beach area.
