Because I feel like this urgency that I have to resolve this so that this feeling goes away.
So what we do... I'm not an effective communicator when I'm in that state.
I'm emotional and I'm angry and I'm scared and I'm sad and all of the things all at once.
And it's too much right in that moment.
So what I do is I literally...
Write an email and I draft it and I draft it and usually take three or four passes because I'm like, that's not what I want to say.
So already by the end of it, I've come down pretty significantly.
Yeah, because I've had this like safe place, the safety of my laptop.
I'm like, this is my happy place.
I can write this down and I can take as many tries as I want to make it sound the way I want.
Then I send it off to him.
And we have a whole folder of this.
Usually I'll send him a text message.
I'm like, I sent you something.
He'll read it.
And then he will think about it and process it.
And usually by that time, I'm like, I'm going to just go somewhere else.
Like I'll go sit in my closet or I'll go sit in the car or I'll go and hang out with the kids.
