Hey there, I'm Rebecca Barber and I'm Sasha's mum.
And I would like to wish a happy Mother's Day to all the other mums out there.
If you're a reader, I've got a really interesting book to recommend.
It's by a gent called Matt Haig, that's H-A-I-G, and the book's called The Life Impossible.
And
I picked it up because it was lying around.
It's not the sort of thing I necessarily would have decided that I wanted to have a read of.
But it got me in really, really quickly and kept me there to the end.
And it's a book that actually made me cry, but
in a happy way.
It's all about a 72-year-old woman who ends up in Ibiza and involved with a group of people who are trying to save a massive seagrass plantation off Ibiza from
evil people who want to just rape and pillage the landscape, basically, and make lots of money out of it.
It's very, very much fantasy.
It involves an entity that actually can enter into people and all sorts of interesting shenanigans happen as a consequence.
Definitely has a happy ending, but lots of sad things along the way as well.
I think it's
A really great way to escape from what can be a really crazy world right now, but it is also very connected with some of the really important challenges that we're facing in our environment today.
So that's my recommendation.
I hope you enjoy it.
