So I'm sure whatever steam they were building up, that sure probably took some air out of the building, having to look at that.
And then people talk about how bad a situation you're in all of a sudden.
But I guess when you're 32nd and you're 32nd with a bullet, it's not unfair to be viewed that way.
But what was the most jarring part of what the agents were saying about Vancouver and the lack of plan and also the noise being too high?
Yeah, a level of vindication, I suppose, right?
With what's kind of going on here.
And I think we're all waiting to see what happens next.
And I don't think anybody has a great handle on it.
The only thing that there seems to be some agreement across all the insiders and people that I've kind of heard stuff is that Jim Rutherford is going to be back and the rest kind of remains to be seen.
But the question that I have is,
How much can you believe in the changes moving forward if all you're doing is rearranging the deck chairs and the chief decision maker is still here and only going to be here for one more year?
And that to me has been the biggest sticking point I have.
It's like if Rutherford was going to be here long term, I would kind of feel like, okay, I may not agree with everything.
I may not, you know, like everything he's done.
And there are certain things that I'm certainly going to criticize and I have criticized, but...
I can see, okay, well, you're sticking with that person.
You have some continuity with the chief decision maker.
But I'm just kind of wondering, if you bring in a new GM and a new coach, and then next year, Rutherford leaves, are you bringing in another president?
Are you going to change the course again?
What's going to happen?
