And I think Quinn really wanted to play with Larkin and Larkin wanted to play with Quinn.
And I do think that not coming together, them missing the playoffs, I'm sure did add another layer of breaking this situation with Detroit.
And that's where you do have to be bold sometimes.
And I think the thing that Eisenman has missed is being bold in acquisitions.
He's made some free agent signings that have been bold, I guess, on the veteran players, but not really smart deals.
The boldest trade he made was the Justin Falk trade.
And I was like, at the deadline.
No, and I think where Detroit is now, like, I think the only play they have is continue the rebuild.
Before it was like we're trying to get out of it.
If Larkin doesn't want to stay there, you got to move Larkin out.
Now you're kind of going... You're not rebuilding rebuild, but you're just prolonging that process, which I don't think you have a choice at this stage.
Could that be the best thing for them long term potentially?
