Would you say that the second or the other really noteworthy thing that came from RJ today was his comment about EP40?

That's RJ on EP40, which is quite the departure based on the things we had heard from the previous regime at times.

And to be fair, it's not like they completely threw EP40 under the bus, but it was very clear about preparation.

And the Sedins touched on that as well when they were introduced as general managers.

I mean, sorry, presidents, co-presidents of the club.

So they've also mentioned that to some degree.

But it was kind of pretty pointed, right?

About, hey, this is what we need you to be.

This is what we have to see you evolve into.

And ultimately...

If you can't trade EP40 right now, because I don't think it's up to the Canucks.

It's up to what's the market going to dictate and what are people looking for?

And is anybody interested to give you anything?

And if that's not there for you, the only option you have available for you is how can you get him to a level where he becomes an asset again?

Either an asset that you want to keep or maybe more importantly, an asset you can actually move and help expedite this rebuild along or help move the rebuild along to some extent and get some more assets and maybe make the team a little bit younger.
