Man, the reaction to the John Shaker hire.

Wow.

And it's like you can very much tell he's persona non grata within hockey circles because the amount of people that have daggers being thrown at him.

And I mean, anybody who talks to people around the league,

It's been a buzz.

Everyone's like, what the hell is going on?

I can't believe this.

He does not have many allies.

It doesn't mean that Sheik is going to do a poor job.

It doesn't mean that it's doomed to fail 100%.

But he's climbing uphill.

Oh, yeah.

And the consumer confidence is super low.

And the confidence of his peers...

is very very low and sometimes listen man when it comes to egos and if you don't fall in line sometimes you can be ostracized because you're not part of the old boys network and sometimes I do wonder if somebody's getting dragged because they just won't follow along with everybody else

But based on the amount of people that don't like Sheikha, there just seems to be a lot there.

And it's been fascinating.

And for us, we're not in Toronto, so we get to just take a backseat.

We have our own things to deal with here, potentially, with what might happen with Vancouver.

But it's been really interesting seeing the reaction, the negative reaction to John Sheikha.
