Because, I mean, I was on Halford & Brough yesterday as well.
Now, obviously, the first person on it was Darren Dreger and Friedman.
They had Dorian interviewed with the Canucks, and
No, we've all heard he's a serious candidate.
Now, it really went up a notch today when Greg Wyszynski was on the morning show with Halford and Brough, and he mentioned that not only is he a favorite, he believes he's going to get the job.
And that just set the entire market into an absolute frenzy.
And since then, there's been some reporting from Gary Mason and Irfan Ghaffar that as much as Dorian is in the mix and he's a finalist, maybe the chances of him becoming the GM are a lot smaller than initially thought.
And the question people are having is,
Did the fan base's reaction change the minds of the powers that be with the organization, which might to some degree give fans and media a bit too much credit, but that's how it's being perceived by a lot of people.
Oh, yeah.
There's no one who's saying, like, you know what?
Actually, this is what he did well.
Like, you have nobody be like, I'm actually.
Nobody's even doing that.
I do wonder if that is something that the organization does view as being important.
And I'm not sitting in here and saying that they don't think that Jim Rutherford isn't taking bullets or hasn't taken bullets for the team.
But you also heard him kind of, I wouldn't say pass the buck, but also kind of like...
at least deflect a little bit and whatnot.
And sometimes you just got to eat things.
And I do think that matters to them, especially for an ownership group that is often under fire in this market for a lot of different reasons.
