And how do you buy into a plan?
Well, having success, but also having this type of framework that allows people to feel good about the process.
And the process in Vancouver, as we talked about over the last while, has not been as good as it has needed to be in the past.
And if you get to a point where ownership is going to change the plan or get overly excited or down on certain things, well, you can have a great group of young players, but are you patient to see it
unfold?
Are you going to hold it all together?
So it goes beyond just talent accumulation.
And that's what separates great organizations.
And today in 2026 and above, it's more than just getting players and throwing them onto the ice and hoping that they do well.
So many other things have to come together for you and so many other boxes you have to check.
