You're swapping first round picks in this year's draft and giving up two future ones.

But even that right there is something that can the Broncos afford it.

Because they missed out on first round guys in 2022, missed out on first round guys in 2023.

Then you would be talking about missing out on first round guys in 2025 and 26.

So how long can you realistically go without a first round pick if you don't have those foundational pieces on the roster?

Because look, the Los Angeles Rams, they did it right.

But

No, they got impact from those picks.

They got Jalen Ramsey and they got other players that they traded for and drafted later.

So it wasn't just about giving up the picks and saying that, you know, F them picks.

Like we don't care about having the picks.

Well, they actually got good players for those picks.

And so it wasn't a matter of just not having, screw the picks.

It was, we drafted well in the mid rounds.

We signed quality free agents.

We traded those picks for quality veteran talent and were able to build a contender

Are the Broncos in the same boat right now?
