I thought that the game kind of reflected the improvements in both teams
that we've seen, obviously Liverpool, they were hard to beat.
They were gritty.
They were resilient and they created a few chances.
Ultimately, they were playing against a team of higher quality, but City didn't, you know, have their best game, showed the brilliance that they have.
Bunny Shaw wasn't firing on all cylinders, but they still found a way.
And that's what we kind of said they hadn't done in previous seasons.
So I think that one nil win, both teams can, can take a lot from it.

a small like like help to liverpool but like creating chances against the the champions in waiting um and just being on that upward trajectory um very very positive and also credit to the signings that they made again like you have to say that the falcon goal was excellent and he said some good chances you know
Holland continues to impress.
There's something to build on there, definitely, for Liverpool.
In terms of experience, yeah.
Bringing in a bit more experience to where they are.
They are in those positions where they've held out for so long.
They have someone who has that bit of guile that can take them that extra step and pick up a point.
Obviously, you'd love to say get a striker who's going to score 20 goals a season, but very, very few and far between, very hard to come by.
So I think more clever signings like that, you're looking at people who can steady a ship, people who are maybe in around that 30 age group who are still
in their prime, but maybe aren't being offered big contracts elsewhere.
