No, David Silva, I don't remember him ever doing it.

I think he was just that laid back, he'll just come out, do his training, and then just go in.

Obviously, when I went in, like I said, Claudio was there with Edison.

Me and Edison got on like that straight away.

He didn't speak much English, but we'd just say something and we'd just start pissing ourselves off.

But Claudio was a little bit different.

I think he'd probably felt a little bit hard done by because he'd signed by Pep when Joe Hart went and he didn't have the great first season, did he?

And then stuff was happening with that.

If I trained as well as I could, then it would hopefully bring their level up.

They could see me knowing I'm not going to play, but I'm still working my bollocks off.

And touch wood, I probably missed a week out of six seasons training.

So I just felt if I can do that and help the keepers that way, and obviously when I'm training on a Sunday,

I haven't played, obviously, the day before and I'm never going to play.

But I can help the other lads as well.

Because, you know, it's like when players don't play, they're coming in in the morning in heads down.
