And the thing I'm taking away from this podcast today is I think a lot about being a dad.

And one of my shortcomings is I just know I fall into the trap of trying to put them on this path to what is seen as traditional success.

I'm too obsessed with getting them into an elite college.

creating what I call SLOPA, and that is connecting small acts of discipline every day to success.

Got to study.

I know you can do better on the ACT.

I just can't help it.

And the thing you said that I wrote down five times is let them have their adventures.

I'm going to try and remember that.
