So yeah, that's exactly what, like we thought this was a crazy idea at first.
And then we had to go out and convince ourselves that like, no, this actually has legs and people will do this.
And a huge part of that, we ran some surveys on like Facebook and SurveyMonkey and those surveys kept coming back and people were interested, but we were like,
no like are they sure they're okay with the camera in the toilet just like pixels on a screen i didn't know those people right and so we were like we got to go look in some people's eyes and like actually confirm that like we're not losing our minds here so we went outside of trader joe's and of course we'd you know ask people do you wear wearables like what how do you track your health and then we'd ask them okay like would you be interested in tracking your gut health your hydration and like almost universally proven yeah absolutely like you know
a shocking amount of people have gut health issues that they would like more insights into.
And then we'd always ask them at the end, okay, but now let's say we're doing this with a camera in your toilet and the lens is facing down.
How do you feel about that?
And not a single person was offended by that.
They're like, oh, the lens is facing down.
Who cares?
Exactly.
Like, I don't, you know, there's nothing special about that.
And what we found is that people assume other people will have an issue with it.
But then you ask, like, how do you feel about it?
They're like, oh, I don't care.
And like, that's a really interesting psychological thing where everyone assumes that other people will be more worried about it than they are.
But then they themselves are not worried about it.
But that's true of almost everyone.
