At one point, he appeared to get annoyed with the material because it was on the prompter.

And I think maybe he realized that some of the things that were on the prompter were just not landing.

By the way, that's a tough room.

I mean, because let's be honest, a lot of the people in there don't like him.

They're not inclined to laugh at his jokes.

They're not inclined to, you know, to be of his persuasion.

And so to land something in there has got to be really good.

And I think I got the feeling he got somewhat annoyed with the material.

I was surprised he didn't take this opportunity, major opportunity to make some news, like something, you know, that he wanted to announce or some point he wanted to drive home and they chose not to use it.
