Now, that's kind of a nonsense term the way they used it, but it's like we're not going to have diversity, equity, or inclusion.
So instead of pursuing the military in terms of how do you plan for defending national security, international security, as well as
Fighting wars.
They simply went in and purged about ten percent of of the the leading commanders of the military, or they blocked their promotions.
And most of those people who had promotions blocked were minorities or women.
And I think you can argue that whatever you think about Trump and Hegzus in terms of, you know, the way they conduct themselves, that the approach to the US military is very different in this administration because it follows certain ideas that they have and it s follows ideas they have about their egos rather than it be any kind of coherent approach to the way that a military should be securing the United States in twenty twenty six.
Look, I Donald Trump loves spectacle.
Donald Trump loves attention.
Donald Trump power loves the attention.
In which it's a spectacle of power now.
I don't want to go too deeply and t although I'm the child of two psychologists.
On the one hand, Donald Trump has been quite insecure throughout his life, that people uh not liked him but also feared him.
And on the other hand, he's very egotistical and can be very self-confident.
And when you put that insecurity together with that self-confidence, he doesn't want to put the guys in the white hats, to use the old metaphor I grew up with.
That's not the guys he wants.
The guys in the black hats, or in this case the black uniforms, are the ones he wants to put out there because he doesn't want to be your reaction of an America with whom you can cooperate, with whom you can work.
He wants it to be in America under him who you fear.
I think the general theme will be uh Hello, President Trump.
