The reason's because gun suicides are reaching record levels.
In total, there were about 44,500 gun deaths in the U.S.
that year.
The study found that Black women experienced the highest increase in gun suicides over the past 10 years, with a 169 percent increase in the rate.

water officials were aware a sewage pipe called the Potomac Interceptor was severely corroded, but did not attempt to remediate the issue before it collapsed.
The pipe collapse in January led to more than 200 million gallons of raw sewage spilling into the Potomac River.

The environmental advocacy group American Rivers recently designated the Potomac as the most endangered river in the nation due to the spill and because of local data centers' demand for water.
