My freshman year high school English teacher is so proud there were no freaking typos in that long quote that I did verbatim from Robert Garcia.

I got the punctuation right, Ben.

Nailed all the spelling.

Look at that.

That is playing with an A game right there, Ben.

So Robert Garcia gives this big statement, and it's been echoed by other members of the House Oversight Committee.

I just spoke with James Walkinshaw, who says this really is

a snub to the people in addition to the Congress.

She was to be here today.

She was subpoenaed by name, not by power, not by position, and she didn't show.

So she has defied the American people and their representatives.

Contempt

Proceedings would be done through a vote in the U.S.

House if they want to find her in contempt of Congress.

And they may or may not move on that.

That may happen.

The Republicans have been silent on her no-show today.

They have not been criticizing nor been alibying her no-show.

But there's a real fundamental bottom line here, Ben.

It would be the Department of Justice that would have to decide whether to prosecute Pam Bondi for contempt of Congress.
