We felt like, I haven't talked to them.
I assume it's the same reason.
And we have had conversations before this about staying to maintain the principles of the broadcast.
If we leave, we can't help.
And that was my opinion.
There have been other times when Anderson left, when others were fired, that we could have stormed into a meeting and quit.
But those very distinguished correspondents and myself did have conversations about this over time and decided that we were better working on the inside and that we could influence things for the better.
And we did.
And it was my intention to stay and do exactly that.
No, no.
I would venture to say that trust is broken.
Oh, gosh, yes.
Look, she's a lovely person, and her free press organization that she founded has been very successful.
She's proven that.
Great for her, but television's not her thing.
She brings an ideology into CBS News where that is just anathema.
And so it's a terrible fit.
It's probably not her fault, but it's just a terrible fit.
She doesn't know television.
She doesn't understand how it works.
