I just remember this out-of-body experience.
Um, and something that, you know, outside of the birth of my children on, you know, in competition that I've never felt before and, you know, have not felt since.
Yes.
And, and, you know, when we get to Houston and I remember we had an off day the next day and we go to the field to work out, I mean, I was still, you know, in this high, so to speak, and just kind of asking myself what the heck, what the heck just happened.
And, and now that I've, you know, 20 years have passed and you've had time to reflect back on that year, that series, that group of guys, you know, you get these warm, fuzzy feelings when you start talking about it and thinking about it.

And seeing how much it affected not only the White Sox organization, but this city of Chicago, the passion of those Southsiders down there still to this day, the appreciation and love that they have for
I think it is a great idea.
Last time I was in town, they approached me and told me about the idea they had and asked if I would be interested in hitting in that.
And I looked at Downey with a puzzled look on my face, and I said, okay, I'm going to remind you of two things before I answer.
One, I was a leadoff hitter, and I only hit 42 career runs.
And second, I'm 50 years old.
So he started laughing and said, look, it's for entertainment purposes.
You can say no.
But, I mean, how do I say no to that?
So I said yes, I'll absolutely do it.
So I agree with you guys.
I think it's a great idea.
I hope us players can hit some out of the box.
