So you weigh all of that, the different scoring rates in the different leagues.
You weigh who kids are playing with.
Some kids are playing further down pro lineups.
Some kids are playing at the top of junior lineups.
Some kids are on PP1.
Some kids do a lot of their damage on even strengths.
Some guys play center, some guys play the wing, some guys are penalty killers.
You sort of have to pick and choose what you care about most, the traits and attributes that you think work in the league.
I think increasingly the sort of the hardest one to evaluate.
And yet the most important one is sort of the problem solving piece of the puzzle, the processing piece of the puzzle, sort of that catch all term of hockey IQ.
It's a lot harder to identify than, you know,
who the fastest skaters on the ice are, who the best shooters on the ice are.
But increasingly, it's not the fastest skaters or the best shooters that are having success at the NHL level.
It's the guys who can really think it through and make good reads and figure things out under pressure and slow the game down and do it at different tempos and that side of it.
So it's definitely tricky when you get to league to league.
