I'll train for five months.
I'll play my first league game.
And then in 11 weeks, I'll be out.
And I'll tap up something out in New York or out in Boston or in Chicago.
And I'll go play hurling out there for the summer.
What's the incentive to say to yourself, I'm going to give it one more last year because next year will be different.
Why would any young player coming through the Waterloo ranks at 18, 19, 20 say to themselves, I might go to Oz, why would I stick around for Waterloo or Indy County Hurling?
okay chance yeah i'd echo what jason was saying um i suppose matchups wise to to take my coaching hat off um i think the goal we set up how they set up for cork with what park mania does in terms of where he sets up like he sets up so deep but that's to negate one so one complete side of the pitch so when he drops back so far deep off in the half forward position he's cutting out one half of the pitch for their inside line for cork's inside line to get ball
So when you take that, if you're putting a guy like Killian Traers on Brian Hayes, you can tell him, okay, mark from one side and one side only, because Pádraig Mannion has the ability and I suppose the license to drop back and cut that out.
So when you play it like that, it probably plays to Galway's benefit.
But then I suppose you're looking at a Cork perspective.
If you put Dara Fitzgibbon on Pádraig Mannion and you say to Dara Fitzgibbon to come off of him,
It puts Park Manion in that dilemma.
Do I do my job and track back and negate that side of the pitch in terms of the inside line?
Or do I follow Dara Fitzgibbon?
