I'm going to read a little bit of her bio for those that might be interested.
So she grew up in Taranaki, left school in New Zealand at 17, didn't come home for a decade, moved to London, worked in Turkey, had jobs in marketing and fashion production, moved home in the mid 90s, looked around at the country, still ignoring the internet and co-founded media design school with her mum.
It became the world's third highest rated film school.
Then the Mind Lab in 2013, which won Best Startup, awarded by Sir Richard Branson.
Then Tech Futures Lab.
Then Academy X, which is New Zealand's only private graduate institute, now expanded into Australia with 120 staff.
She's a companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit.
She's the chair of the Auckland Theatre Company.
She's a national expert for the UN Back to World Summit Awards.
She's survived two plane crash incidents.
an incredible cook she's worked at the Auckland Zoo looking after giraffes like a vegetarian for 30 years wrote a book during COVID entered the world of wearable arts seven plus times and just launched a new venture Love Heart which is aimed at the over 60s it's such an incredible life and story so there's a lot in the episode but she's a futurist and she looks at trends and where sort of society is headed
And she speaks about, you know, the worker to retiree rate going from six to one in the 80s down to two to one and the huge, what is it, the sort of Pacific Island and MΔori contingent, what that number looks like?
Yeah, and good timing because that's just launching.
Again, she's just a classic entrepreneur.
